5 Steps to start teaching online today

1. Register for the African Percussion, Music & Dance Hub
2. Invite your students to do the same and ask them to send you their screen name after registering
3. Create a group
   • Select the forum option (so you can chat on your own group forum)
   • Invite your students to the group
   • Select ‘activate’ Buddymeet (tab 8)
4. Now you can set a date and time for an online meeting using your forum page or by sending direct messages.
5. At set date and time, go to groups, select your group, buddymeet, meet the group and you can start teaching (maybe do a test session first)

• • You can create a group for each regular lesson you teach i.e. “Amazing Teacher”, Monday, 8PM group
  • You can upload files, like writen notations, to the group
  • You can record your live session and share them later on our video channel

Extra steps

• Ask for extra permissions on the about page
  • So we know you’re a teacher and you can make a proper profile page
  • Or you can write blogs for our website
